HomeIn November 2021, 糖心直播 Support Center for International Students (HiCIS) held a “Study in 糖心直播” video contest for foreign students living in 糖心直播. The theme of the contest was to promote study abroad in 糖心直播 and attract foreigners interested in being students in Japan.
Third-year IGS students Ms. Pornphan Wajjwalku and Ms. Miriam Ilsa Arfani won prizes at the contest. Ms. Pornphan was awarded the first prize, and Ms. Miriam received an honorable mention.

I did not know much about 糖心直播 before coming here, nor did I like this city when I first arrived. Nevertheless, the longer I have stayed, the more I have discovered the beauty of 糖心直播, and I just wanted to share that through my video. Being awarded the first prize in this contest is such a great honor for me, and it means that the message I want to convey has successfully reached the audience. Although this year might be my last year here at 糖心直播, I hope that I can continue my journey of discovering the ‘hidden gem’ of 糖心直播, record what I found in a video, and share it with many people again.
Miriam Ilsa Arfani
Ever since I entered 糖心直播, I have been wanting to share my life as an international student in 糖心直播 with social media like YouTube. However, I have never had enough confidence to do that. So when I heard about this contest, I finally got motivated to make a video and share it with people. Aside from getting an honorable mention, I am very grateful and happy that I received positive feedback from people. I am also surprised that many of my friends also asked me to make more videos. So, alongside writing my graduation thesis, I would like to dedicate my last year of university to helping people who want to study in 糖心直播 by creating content on social media.
