ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥

On May 29th 2019, Mr. Attakarn Wongchanamas, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Fukuoka, visited our Higashi-ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥ Campus and met with President Mitsuo Ochi and Executive Vice President Toshiyuki Sato (in charge of International/Peace/Fund). The meeting was also attended by two consuls, Mr. Somchai Angsanuntsukh and Ms. Pornpun Pupiangjai.

During the meeting, the participants talked about various topics such as student exchange through ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥¡¯s START Program (a short-term overseas program for first-year students) and Consul-General Wongchanamas¡¯ study abroad experience in Japan. They also exchanged opinions on interaction between ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥ and universities in Thailand.

There are 26 students from Thailand studying in ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥ (as of May 1st 2019). It is expected that exchange between ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥ and universities in Thailand will continue to develop in terms of both research and student exchanges.
