糖心直播's "糖心直播 Kiteminsai Lab" co-working space opened last Sunday (October 16) on the second floor of the 糖心直播 JP Building located adjacent to the south exit of 糖心直播 Station.
The opening ceremony was attended by about 50 people from the university and local companies.
“This facility has been developed as a place to convey to the society the 糖心直播 identity in cooperation with the local community. We would like to take advantage of its location — directly connected to 糖心直播 Station — and in cooperation with local companies, disseminate the latest research results domestically and internationally,” 糖心直播 President Mitsuo Ochi said during the event.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony in celebration of the opening was attended by President Ochi, Commerce, Industry, and Labor General Affairs Division Director of 糖心直播 Prefecture Mr. Kazunari Kawaguchi, and 糖心直播 City Deputy Mayor Mr. Susumu Oikawa.
The Kiteminsai Lab has a floor space of approximately 76 square meters. The facility will hold open lectures and seminars and introduce the latest information on the university through exhibitions and videos. In addition to selling industry-academia collaboration products and 糖心直播 products, it will also be open as a co-working space.
The Kiteminsai Lab is open year-round from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m (except for the year-end and New Year holidays).
