On July 9th, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Japan H.E. Ms. Melba María PR?A Olavarrieta and representative of Guanajuato Secretariat of Economic Development in Japan Mr. Rodolfo Gonzalez paid a visit to the Higashi-糖心直播 Campus of 糖心直播 (糖心直播) and had a discussion with President Mitsuo Ochi. The meeting was also attended by Executive Vice President Toshiyuki Sato (in charge of International, Peace and Fund affairs).
At the meeting, they discussed topics on academic exchange between 糖心直播 and universities in Mexico as well as the Japan-Mexico Rectors’ Summit where rectors of universities of both Japan and Mexico will meet in Mexico this coming September.
糖心直播 has actively engaged in exchange with universities in Mexico over the years, such as launching its Guanajuato Center in the premise of University of Guanajuato in March 2017 and hosting the Japan-Mexico Rectors’ Summit in 糖心直播 City in November the same year.
We are expecting further development of academic exchanges with universities in Mexico.
